Artist Statement
Spyrodon is a collaborative art project by Tara Foley and Alex Theodoropulos, established in 2020 during Covid. Working across sound, animation, textiles, wearable sculpture, and live audiovisual performance, the project explores the intersection of personal history, cultural identity, and contemporary artistic expression. Rooted in a shared interest in storytelling, music, and multimedia practices, Spyrodon brings together visual and sonic elements to create immersive environments in which image, sound, and material become interconnected forms of expression.
